Public access and parks with showers and other facilities are strategically placed but there is also miles of shoreline where you can walk at certain times of the day and rarely see another soul.  

Not only is Brevard an aesthetically appealing place to live but it is also a great place to raise a family. Several Brevard County Elementary Schools consistently make the top five schools in FCAT (the statewide elementary testing) and some of the local high schools score in the top 5 for SAT scores and have been listed as 49 in the top 100 best high schools in the country. The major employers in the area revolve around aeronautical and space exploration fields. With many computer and rocket scientists it is no wonder that the schools tend to score the highest in the math and science sections of all testing.  

But what is it like to live day to day in this area? Get ready for an easygoing lifestyle where people wave to their neighbors and smile at strangers in the grocery store. There is plenty of local shopping, religious places of worship and general day-to-day necessities. Plus within only an hour drive Walt Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World, Magic Basketball, large “super” malls, Broadway Plays, cultural events and general “big-city” conveniences are available (& the traffic). The Melbourne Regional Airport is located in Brevard County and the Orlando International Airport is within a 30-60 minute drive from anywhere in the County.
For all intents and purposes this simply put is one of the best places in the world to live!
